Textward
Refund Policy
How refunds work, and the 7-day window to ask for one.
Effective October 8, 2026
The short version
If Textward does not deliver what you paid for, you get your money back.
- Request a refund from your order's download page within 7 days of purchase.
- Most refunds are issued in full straight away. Some are reviewed by a person first.
- If too many pages in a job fail to process, we refund the order automatically.
- A refund does not take your files away. They stay available until your order is deleted.
Automatic refunds
If a substantial portion of the pages in a job fail to process, we refund the whole order automatically. You do not have to ask. Any pages that did transcribe stay available to download.
Requesting a refund
Open your order's download page, choose Request a Refund, tell us what went wrong, and submit. We refund the full order, not part of it.
Refunds are tied to the receipt email entered at checkout. We use it to confirm the refund and to reply if your request needs review. If you have closed the download page, open the recovery link we sent to your receipt email to get back to your order.
Instant and reviewed refunds
Most requests are refunded immediately. Larger orders and repeat requests from the same receipt email go to a person, who replies to your receipt email within two business days. Review exists to prevent abuse, not to argue about whether a transcription was good enough.
The 7-day window
Paid orders are deleted 7 days after purchase, and refund requests close at the same time. After that we no longer have your pages or your transcription, so we cannot review the request.
Timing
Refunds return to the original payment method through Stripe and can take several days to appear on your statement. We email a confirmation to your receipt email.
Special cases
If something went wrong that the download page cannot handle, such as a checkout without a receipt email, email support@textward.app with your order reference. It starts with TW- and appears on your Stripe receipt and your download page.
